Coconut Eggs

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Shredded Coconut
  • 1/2 Pint Light Karo Syrup
  • Dark Chocolate/Semi-Sweet Chips
  • Shortening

Directions

  • Mix together the coconut and syrup and roll to make either balls or eggs
  • Freeze to help with coating in chocolate
  • Melt the chocolate and shortening on the stove
  • Dip balls/eggs in chocolate and refrigerate to set
